Simple and Easy

Love it!

Thanks for great product

Thank you Aleksei for great development. Very simple and useful. And also free. Works great as well!

Best SIP-Client Ive ever touched.

Two functions: to call or not to call. Nothing else. Perfect

Good App…but could be better.

This is as clean and simple a SIP client as you will ever find for the Mac. With that said, its lacking in a few areas. As mentioned in previous reviews, there is no menubar icon or quick-access functions from the dock - its keyboard shortcuts or nothing. Growl support is broken if youre running Mountain Lion, and there is no Notification Center support. Calling works fine, from what I can tell, but the app insists on using a new call window for every call (and I cant find a call history log either). Sometimes "simple" can be taken just a little too far. Very slim, unobtrusive little client that with a few easy updates could become my goto for SIP.

not sure???????

how much fees do you have to pay for calling over seas??????????

HELPPPPP

What do you put when it asks for your domain because i entered the e-mail i used but it wont work for me. What should I do?

works well with Pfingo

only softphone to work properly with Pfingo on answering calls. other softphones can make calls but have audio problems on receiving calls with Pfingo. but this app works really well!

Minimalist, probably too minimalist

For a free app this is pretty nice since theres nothing nagging you, no ads, etc. The UI is about as minimalist as it gets: a text input where you type a number. The biggest problem for me is no keypad. I tried this at work where we have a SIP PBX and tried checking my voicemail. The voicemail system has a touch-tone menu, which I could not use with this application since there is no numeric keypad (at least not one that was obvious).

Need screenshots

I wish there was a detailed setup instructions. Ive been trying for a while with no success.

Love the UI

Minimal, supports growl notifications, integrates with Mac Address Book - makes and recieves calls without issues. Thats all I needed. Best of all, its open source

Echo, echo, echo...

This is a great, small and convienent app that does what it promises. My only complaint is when I use it on my Macbook Pro Retina, every caller complains of echo of thier own voice. Some cancellation would be nice.

Would be a 5 star...

I cant believe this phone ap has no dialpad for current calls. would have been a 5 star otherwise.

No TLS support - very bad security

The UI is brilliantly simple. I really want to love this app. But there is zero support for TLS (encrypted sign in) or SRTP (encryption of call data), meaning everything you do is sent totally unencrypted over the Internet. This is an *insanely* bad oversight. If you use this app, make sure its signed out before you login to a public WiFi network. It would be trivially easy for anyone on else on the same public WiFi network to hijack your login credentials if you use this app.

Great!!! BUT!!!

Please ADD A DIAL PAD!! cannot dial an extension!

Answered but would not receive or send voice

This app answered calls but wouldnt make a voice connection, so I deleted it. I opened up my firewall to registered apps just in case but it still didnt work. I could not hear the other end and they could not hear me. There was nothing unusual in the logs. Im running the latest version of osX on a late model macbook air. Also, even if it worked for me, it really would have needed a touch tone generating key pad for dealing with services like voicemail that use that interface. I hope it works for others. I just downloaded apps that did work on my iPad and iPhone instead.

Every minute hang up on me

I use 3CX on my iPhone to make a call over internet. Now, Im using this app on my MacBook to make a call; however, every minute, it requests timeout and hangs up on me, and I need to call back again every minute. Does not let me to talk.

Almost perfect

Awesome product. If you add just two features Id gladly pay 10 bucks for it: - Set ringtone volume regardless of system setting - Hide Dock Icon upon launch and move it to the menu bar

So Simple It Doesn’t Work?

In theory Google Voice is a sip provider. Guessed at the settings several times with several variations. Nothing works.

Minimalist Perfection

It stays out of the way, until needed. Allows for ringing from speakers and call output from headphones. Clean, native, GUI. It has no graphical keyboard, and doesnt need one, your keyboard works just fine. This is one of my favorite utilities for OSX, well done.

Since my OSx upgrade microphone stopped working

I used to love this app. What happened? Now it done had to delete it!
